Brief Review for the Project Requirement

Project-1 Brief: Create HTML pages and website using HTML5 and CSS3.

Project-1A: Basic HTML Page-1 – 10 points (Aug. 26 – Sept. 23 / 3 weeks)

Project-1B: Basic HTML Page-2 – 10 points (Aug. 26 – Sept. 23 / 3 weeks)
Please check the project brief for details
• For the Project-1A and 1B, you can add more content if you want as long as the additional content is suitable to the page topic.
• You should not use the sample graphic images in the asset folder except the program icons (Dw or Xd) and Amazon image. You need to redesign all graphic elements for both pages.
• You need to link both viscomm page and fusion page with each other.

Project Requirement of P1A, P1B, and P1C:

  1. Use required HTML tags and related attributes to create the HTML pages and mini HTML site.
  2. Use valid HTML5 tags and attributes (Check the validation through W3Schools’ validation service or Dreamweaver’s HTML Code Validator feature)
  3. Do not use obsolete tags and attributes in your HTML pages.
  4. Use column grid principle to construct each HTML layout.
  5. Use basic CSS rules to style HTML tags and attributes, and to visualize color, graphic elements, and text.
  6. Build a legible web typography and readable type content.
  7. Use responsive design to build fluid layouts.
  8. Build a correct site root, a clear site construction, and a friendly site management.
  9. The mini HTML web site must include a home page (index), a simple navigation system, and five linked pages to demonstrate how the website appears and functions. All pages must have linear connections.

  1. Online Submission:
    • Name your project folder of the Project-1A and 1B as firstname-lastname_p1-ab, and name your project folder of the Project-1C as firstname-lastname_p1c, and contain:contain:
    All Html files and css files
    An image folder contains all jpg files and gif files
    A media folder contains the files of html5 audio and video
    (4) Drop off your project folders on Blackboard
