Art-341 Motion Graphics course is a three credit hours studio class. The course will be focused on Flash animation and After Effects motion graphics.

Course Objectives:
The Motion Graphics course is designed to introduce Flash techniques and industry standard motion graphics. The core of the course is the lectures for creating Flash animation and video production of After Effects.

Student Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this course, students should be able to:

  1. Create multiple tweenings and animate objects in Adobe Flash Pro
  2. Edit Audio and Video in Adobe Premiere
  3. Create Kinetic Typographic Projects, and Explore Text Animations in 2D and 3D through Adobe After Effects
  4. Import Footage, Illustrator Files, and Layered Photoshop Files to After Effects
  5. Apply Color Correction in Adobe Premiere and After Effects
  6. Use Null Objects to Control 3D Cameras, and Animate a 3D Object in After Effects
  7. Apply Advanced Lighting Techniques in After Effects
  8. Apply Motion Blur and Other Effects in Flash and After Effects
  9. Render and Export a QuickTime Movie in After Effects
