Trips

Each year, our chapter goes on a trip. We find feel like in order to create great design, we must immerse ourself in great design. It is a great way for our chapter to bond but also get in touch with our field. We encourage every member to go on the trip with us and through fundraising we make sure that it is affordable.  With each trip we make sure to take you outside of Missouri and experience life elsewhere! So many different places in the United States, so many little opportunities to take trips.  Each place we have been offers such a different cultural experience that we guarantee it will effect the way you design, in a positive way! In order to make great art you must get out there and explore!

 

Are you interested in going on a trip with us? Please feel free to come to any of our meetings every other Monday at 7 P.M. in Ophelia Parrish 1220 ( The Illustration Room). We allow members to join at the beginning of each semester! We would love for you to join anytime, but do to dues and rules, we have to make sure our members get the most bang for their buck and join at a more appropriate time! Feel free to come in and sit in on one of our meetings though if you are interested in joining! We love visitors!

How do we get there?

Since Kirksville's airport is very limited and flights are expensive, we carpool together as a chapter! It is a fun bonding experience with our chapter!

 

How expensive is this?

Not expensive at all! When you join AIGA in the fall you are given a set amount you will need to pay in order to go on this trip so you can start saving money from there. Our trips typically range from $300-$400 a person, with you buying your food and souvenirs too.
