Detailed Information About Senior Test

Posted by: Ping

Truman Assessment & Testing Office will administer the test in Violette Hall – you check in at the table that will be set up in the open area on first floor outside of room 1000. There are two testing sessions on November 2nd. One starts at 7:30 am and the other starts at 10:45 am. You will be able to select which session you want to attend when you fill out the registration form when you attend September 4 class. The testing coordinator will briefly give us the introduction about the test and collect all registrations that are completed during the class and will turn them into the testing company.

To take the test, you must have a valid photo and signature-bearing ID to take the test so a Drivers License or Passport will work but your student ID will not work. The test is two hours long and you must remain for the entire time. If you finish early, you just have to sit quietly at your desk. You are not allowed to bring cell phones into the building on test day. If you do and is caught with on in your possession, you will be dismissed from the test. Since this is a national test, you must abide by the policies and procedures of the testing company and they are pretty strict.

If you miss the September 4 class, you need to get the registration materials filled out and returned to the coordinator’s office by a date I will determine. If you have a conflict with the November 2 test date, then I will determine what you can do to make up the test such as take it computer-based or allow you to take it in January 2014, etc. I can help you know the possible options if it comes up. If you register for the November 2 exam but do not attend the exam, you must contact ETS and re-register for the test but you will have to pay for it the second time. When this happens, you need also to tell me because taking the test is a requirement for the class.
