2021 International Design Awards (IDA) winners were announced on January 13th, 2022 in Log Angeles.
The 15th edition of the IDA attracted thousands of outstanding submissions from designers around the world who vied for the top prizes in this prestigious award.
Evaluating submissions from more than 80 countries, members of the IDA jury commented on the incredibly high standard of design entries across the five Award disciplines – Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic and Fashion Design.

To participate the IDA 2021 competition, I submitted four logos into the logo category of the contest and won three honorable mentions on January 6, 2021 in Los Angeles.

Work Description:
I designed the combo mark for a consultant company by using a question mark as a unit form and rotating it to form the symbol mark. I also found a typeface to match the graphic style of the symbol mark and treated the outlined word mark by using one of the pathfinder filters in Adobe Illustrator.

Work Description:
For a freelance project, I designed the logo for a grill and seafood restaurant in the U.S.. I added dots into the extended tail of the letter R to symbolize the octopus’s tentacles as Roadchef is a seafood restaurant. The color palette of the logo is the combination of blue and red which symbolize ocean color for seafood and fire red for grill.

Work Description:
For a self-promotion purpose, I designed the brand identity for “Kiss of Desire Fragrance.” The combo logo’s symbol mark is formed by an overlapped “k”, “o” and “D” for the abbreviation of “Kiss of Desire”. The light red color and metallic gold symbolize the cosmetic industry and products.
