College + The New York Times Creative Jam Int’l College Contest: Top-10 Winner List & UTRGV Teams of Honorable Mentions | Sept. 28, 2021

Posted by: Ping

Congratulations on our graphic design students’ well-deserved success. They received honorable mentions in the 2021 College + The New York Times Creative Jam International College App Design Contest.

Adobe Creative Jam is one of the most immersive ways to learn Adobe tools and advance their digital literacy. It helps college students bridge the gap between their current studies and their future careers. UTRGV School of Art & Design students joined the UT Adobe Creative Jam in Fall 2020 and won two awards and three short-list awards. In the Fall 2021 semester, eight student teams from my ARTS-4333, ARTS-4334, and ARTS-4338 classes joined the College Creative Jam hosted by Adobe and New York Times from September 14 to 28, 2021. They competed with other college students from the U.S and Canada.

The College + The New York Times Creative Jam 2021 received a total of 315 submissions from around the U.S. and Canada. UTRGV teams were on the top 20 list and received three Honorable Mentions at this international venue on September 28, 2021!
