User Experience (UX) Design is an essential technique in designing websites and applications around the world. This course examines the major concepts of user-centered design through readings, discussions, practicing, and project assignments. The course content and activities include researching design trends of UI/UX field and award winning UI/UX designs, and generating a couple of projects of interactive design.
After completing the UX project, a couple of student works from the class project pool may be selected for joining American Advertising Awards 2021 Annual Competition, and the university will cover the entry fee of the selected works. If the work receives an ADDY Award in February 2021, the gala ticket will be supported by UTRGV School of Art and Design.
