The Study Abroad Asia Program is a crucial part of a well-rounded undergraduate education in the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). As the UTRGV Study Abroad Asia program faculty leader, I designed the Study Abroad Asia program logo to promote the Asia Study Program. To design the logo, I created the globe symbol mark to symbolize the study abroad and the word mark SAA UTRGV to the theme, Study abroad Asia at UTRGV. I used orange and gray which are the theme colors that close to UTRGV official color palette, and used 0.3 point hairline to address the assistant lines, so that the logo specifications can be applied.
