Taiwan English Camp was established by UTRGV School of Art’s professor Ping Xu in Spring 2017. The English Camps were held in 2017 and 2018 in Changhua county of Taiwan. The event is a collaborative effort between The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and the Education Department of Changhua. The purpose of the English Camp program is to promote understanding of Chinese and Taiwanese culture within the UTRGV community as well as teach English and American culture to youth in Taiwan.
