In order to provide a more focused creative environment, Adobe Flash Professional CC has streamlined its feature set. The following is a list of the notable tools that have been dropped from the previous version:

  2. TLF text
  3. Deco tool
  4. Bone tool
  5. Project panel
  6. Printing
  7. Common Library
  8. Behaviors panel
  9. Object-level undo
  10. Spelling panel
  11. Movie Explorer
  12. Bandwidth profiler in Test Movie mode
  13. FXG file import or export
  14. Video Cue Points (but still available in Media Encoder and through ActionScript)
  15. Closed captioning
  16. Video playback on Stage with FLV playback component
  17. Device Central
  18. Importing SWFs
  19. Pick whip in the Code Snippets panel
  20. File Info (XMP Metadata)
  21. Import support for some bitmap formats (BMP, TIFF, AutoCad) and some
    sound formats (AIFF, Sound Designer, Around AU, Adobe Sounds Document)
