We already have a few gallery events this week – please do tell your classes, and come if you have time:

Thursday the 16th at 9:15am in the gallery – visiting artist Jill Waterhouse (from Minneapolis St. Paul or thereabouts) will be talking about the art she is installing for the Apocalyptic exhibit (it’s mixed media sculpture/installation).

Thursday the 16th at 4:30 pm in the side gallery – closing reception for the Strong Foundations exhibition. Let’s all take a good long look at this final sample of work from the late foundations program. Free food of course and maybe a door prize too!

Friday the 17th (tentatively) at 11:30am in the gallery – a repeat of the Thursday morning program with Jill Waterhouse.

Meanwhile, keep your radar on for the reception for “Apocalyptic” and “Lori Nix – Post Apocalyptic” on Jan 28 at 6pm – as well as events related to Lori Nix’s visit to campus around that time (who wants to take her to lunch or dinner on the gallery’s dime?)
