For many designers, it represents a meaningful career milestone, strengthening international portfolios, increasing visibility within the global creative industry, supporting professional mobility and career growth, and fostering connections with jurors, peers, and collaborators worldwide. Founded in 2017, the Indigo Design Award is an international competition that recognizes bold, innovative, and visionary work across a wide range of disciplines, including Graphic Design, Digital Design, UI/UX, Branding, and Design for Social Change.
The Indigo community will gather in Lisbon, Portugal, on May 29, 2026, to celebrate outstanding achievements in design. The 2026 Indigo Awards marks the ninth edition of the competition since its inception in 2018. I am honored to share that my Cross Connections 2026 Exhibition Poster received one Silver Award in the Typography category for Graphic Design, along with two Bronze Awards in the Poster and Promotional Materials categories. Additionally, a separate brand identity project received a Bronze Award in the Logos category for Graphic Design.
This year’s jury featured distinguished creative leaders such as Daniela Varela (Creative Director at TBWA\Chiat\Day NY), Nuno Salvaterra (Creative Director for Nike), and Lidong Liu (Senior Product Designer at Spotify), representing globally recognized companies including Google, Microsoft, Mastercard, TBWA, IKEA, IBM, Pinterest, IDEO, Bosch, Nike, Disney, PayPal, Pepsi, Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Zoom, Spotify, and Sony.
