“Last week when I locked up and called DPS at 11:45 pm, no one came till 12:30. Should I call earlier or is there someone going around OP locking the doors at midnight?”
DPS officer normally checks and locks the door every night, but they sometimes forget to do so. In this case, I will turn the door into the locked status after 5:00 p.m. from tomorrow. So please use doorstop to keep the door open if you temporarily leave the lab to restroom during your working shifts, don’t lock yourself out of the room after 5:00 p.m..
The first monitor of every Saturday and Sunday, please call DPS to open the door for you. You may find DPS’s number on the bulletin board of the lab. Your name is on the lab monitor list, and Department of Public Safety also get the copy.
The last monitor of everyday, please shut the door, and make sure the door is closed and locked before you leave. If I forget to turn the door into the locked status, the last monitor needs to call DPS around 11:30 p.m., and ask DPS officer to come and lock the door.
