SEVILLE
Welcome to one of the most charming cities of Spain. Seville is the capital city of Andalusia. Located in the South of Spain Seville, or Sevilla in Spanish, is one of the largest Spanish cities with over 700,000 inhabitants. It occupied the valley of the Guadalquivir river, with 60 navigable kilometers, which was an important harbor during the Spanish conquest of the American continent. Seville’s rich history has left the city stuffed with innumerable monuments like the Cathedral (third largest in the world), the Giralda tower, the palace of the Reales Alcazares, the Barrio of Santa Cruz, the Maestranza bullfighting ring, and the passionate Flamenco dance preformed in caves of the mountains.
SANTANDER
Santander is the main city of Cantabria, with around 185,000 inhabitants, that spreads around the bay. There are several beaches and harbors limiting the city on the northern side, towards the southern part you’ll find the old city center and a bit further the green mountains. In the 19th century the city was a renowned otourist resort for Spanish politicians, aristocrats, and much of the upper class. The city stil keeps wonderful palaces and promenades, a bay type architecture with white buildings, old cafes, and its famous casino. Besides its appeal as a holiday resort, the city is becoming an important center for congresses and conferences. Additionally, the whole region of Cantabria has a wide range of opportunites and excursions for exploring nature with beautiful mountains, prehistoric sites, sky resorts, beautiful villages, world heritage sites plus a fantastic zoo!
