Our facilities can be found in the Edinburg, Brownsville and Mcallen areas and are fully equipped with staff and some volunteers.
The state of our veterans are very important to us and when the government cannot help we take the initiative in providing care to our veterans with the help from charitable donations and support from various private companies. Revisiting the Pink Lady
It's morning and the smell of dust permeates the cockpit of the 1945 Pink Lady. The propellers blur into a disc while Bert and Anton flip switches in the cockpit. Bert who sits in the pilot's seat has a grip on the throttle pushing forward causing the bird to pick up speed. Anton the co pilot turns to me and says "hang on to your balls kid". Within seconds the metal bird is up above the ground. Palm trees are sprinkled throughout the ground of the Rio Grande Valley. Bert smiles. Anton turns around "Bert hasn't smiled like this since 1945. It's good to be back home."

2017 Spotlight: Disabled Veterans
Our spotlight today is about our veterans who have paid a price while fighting to regain peace in war torn regions overseas. Henry Miller is a veteran now retired who lost the use of his legs due to contact with an IED during a mission overseas. He and two surviving team members having spent the night injured and exposed to the elements were recovered by a recon vehicle and helicoptered out of active territory. Mr. Miller had spent his recovery period advocating support for wounded veterans who return home after serving their duties can live a life without providing financial stress to their own families and loved ones. Mr. Miller also helps out his local fire department and spends some of his time giving speeches to gradeschoolers about what role he played in his duties overseas. Our cause in HonorVeterans.com is to provide awareness about veterans like Mr. Miller who return injured but still live productive and meaningful lives with the help of our organization to pay for some medical care, transportation and food that would be difficult to recieve from their families alone especially if our veterans live alone or have limited contact with other forms of support. Donation by kind hearted citizens are very important and it's stories like these that drive our organization to step up where local government can fall short.
