Every year on the square, Kirksville hosts the Red Barn Arts and Crafts Festival. This is an excellent opportunity for AIGA to sell our designs and make money for the upcoming year. We look for designs of all kinds, such as buttons, cards, notebooks, magnets, or posters, to sell at this festival. Many people from all over come to this event, making it prime for selling. Help out by coming to craft nights, submitting ideas, or even working the booth itself!
Card sales are going on year round to provide us with extra funds we need throughout the year, and they usually go towards the trips. Oktoberfest is yet another fundraising opportunity for AIGA. This event occurs every year on a weekend in October where AIGA sells crafts and designs that we have made. This is a big event that brings many students, faculty, and families together for some fun filled activities and many things to purchase. AIGA uses this event to help raise money for trips and t-shirts later on in the year.
