1. Open a page: Command O to open an existing
page.
Tip: you can open last 4 files from File menu.
2. Create a new page: Command N to get
a new HTML page.
3. Create a new local site
4. Give a page title.
5. Open the following windows ready for project:
• Object Panel: Command F2
or Window > Insert
• Property Inspector Window: Command
F3 or Window > Properties
• Site Files Window: Window > Files
• Behavior Window: Shift F4 or
Window > Behaviors
Tip: F4 to show / hide the object and
properties windows simultaneously
Chapter-2. Adding Content to the Page.
a. To place text: Start to type. (Command F2
if the objects bar/text panel disapeared)
• Press Return to make a paragraph
break (p)
• Press Shift Return to make
a line break <br> or <br />
b. To create a heading:
• Select the text you want be heading
• Open the Property Inspector window
• In Format drop-down menu to select.
c. To insert a Table: Insert > Table
• If the Table can not be inserted: View > Table Mode > Standard
Mode
d. To insert an image: Insert > Image (you must convert the image to a jpg format or a gif
format)
(if you need to replace one image with the others, double click the image to open
the image source folder then pick it up.)
e. To insert a rollover image: Insert > Images objects> Rollover

f. To insert an Hyperlink: Insert > Hyperlink
g. To insert an E-mail link: Insert > Email Link
h. To insert an Anchor: Insert > Named Anchor
i. To insert an AP element (AP Div): Insert > Layout Objects > AP Div
(F2 to open the AP Elements panel or the CSS panel)
j. To insert a Media: Insert > Media > ...
(insert a Flash Movie / a Flash Video, / a Shockwave movie / or a QuickTime movie / a soundtrack)
k. To insert a Form: Invert > Form > Text Field / Button / Jump Menu / Checkbox / Radiu Button
l . To insert a Spry Menu Bar: Invert > Spry > Spry Menu Bar
Chapter-3: Adjusting the Page Properties:
• using page properties dialog box to modify, edit and adjust the html
document, (or address an embeded CSS system)
Command J or Modify > Page Properties_to set up the following:
Chapter-4: Editing your Local Site:
Site > Edit Site,
Make sure the following:
• Edit your site at the beginning or before the page saving.
• To create a root directory (home folder) for your local site.
• Save all supporting image files (jpg or gif files) and
HTML files within the Root Folder
Keep in mind:
Bring the entire Root Folder if you need relocate files,
and edit your site again when you handle your site/files in another computer/location.
