Project Objective
The goal of producing the web site is to learn about Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 and other related applications by directly working in the software and learning its working process. The final goal of the project is to create a resource reference for the tools, functionality and design potential for creating web pages with strong aesthetic design and functional values.

Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 is the premier website builder software with the latest CSS and HTML. Dreamweaver CS6 includes various new features that improve usability and help you to build pages whether you are working in the design or in the coding environment. Dreamweaver CS6 also provides support for best practices and industry standards, including support for advanced CSS, web fonts, fluid grid layouts, and HTML5 audio and video.

Project Working Process:
In the process of building the website, you will learn the following

  1. To create web pages by using Adobe Dreamweaver CS6
  2. To learn web site construction and management
  3. To learn CSS rules in the Dreamweaver environment
  4. To learn other related software (such as Fireworks, Photoshop, and Illustrator) that assist in building web pages
  5. To upload the Dreamweaver Workbook project to your personal web space

Project Detailed Requirement:

  • Create a splash page “index.html”, and apply CSS3 round corner for the title box,
    or insert a Flash movie
  • Create six CSS3 gradient buttons with shadows or six rounded corner buttons for the navigation system. (if you prefer to use Dreamweaver’s spry menu bar for the main navigation, you need add the round corner border property to the menu boxes)
  • Create an animated header banner in Photoshop
  • Create some graphic elements in Illustrator
  • Create a sub-nav spry menu bar and a jump menu in Dreamweaver
  • Create a home page, five body pages, and a series of sub-pages via Dreamweaver CS6, with HTML5 and CSS for the project
    (Please round some corner(s) for header or footer section)
  • There are a total of twenty-seven pages for the entire website.
