When packing your luggage, please consider to bring the following items:

1. Insect Repellentinsect_repellent

Taiwan is a tropical island. An insect repellent is needed for outdoor activities in Taiwan. It can repel mosquitoes that may carry West Nile Virus. It can be available in Wal-mart, HEB, Walgreens, or Home Depot.

2. Facial Tissue Packet Packs

3. Medications

Pack all medicines in your carry-on luggage and plan to bring even over-the-counter meds with you. After all, there’s nothing pleasant about struggling to read medical labels in a foreign language, even if you’re just looking for basic aspirin. Keep medicines in their original bottles to avoid customs hassles. If you’re taking prescription meds, carry copies of your prescriptions and a doctor’s note describing your condition, as well as the generic names for your drugs. You may bring Band-aid for small wound care if you have some, and check your family doctor if you like to bring melatonin for relieving jet lag.

4. Camera Accessaries & Voltage Converter

During the trip in Beijing, Hunan, Shanghai, and Taiwan, we will take many photos for our projects. Please prepare batteries, two 16 or 32GB memory cards, and card reader for your camera and projects
